Commissioning work for the new 1.2 ML clear water storage (CWS) tank at the Trentham Water Treatment Plant is underway.
This plant supplies treated drinking water to close to 1,200 customers in Trentham. As demand for this water increases over time, it is necessary to upgrade the plant to keep pace.
The new CWS tank will increase the site’s capacity to store water and provide improved reliability for Trentham residents, particularly during peak usage times.
Tank commissioning is due for completion by mid-March 2024.
