The Early Exit Expression of Interest (EOI), invites rural customers to express interest in voluntarily surrendering their rural water licence at this early stage of the project.

This opportunity responds to feedback from some customers who have already indicated through recent engagement that they intend to surrender their licence and would prefer to do so early in the process.

Taking part is entirely voluntary. Customers who choose to proceed with an early exit will be eligible for an incentive payment based on the amount of water they hold. The information gathered through this process will also help us plan a network that is fit for purpose and cost-effective for customers who remain connected.

The incentives available are:

Rural Licence $7,500

Water $2,000 (per megalitre)

EOI payment $2,500 (one off payment)

By registering your interest below, we will go ahead and prepare a formal offer with incentives, for you to surrender your licence and cease to be a rural customer. Note the offer will not be valid until you accept, sign and return the necessary paperwork to finalise the process.

All expressions of interest need to be received by 30 June 2026.
