Early Exit Expression of Interest form for surrender of a licence issued under Section 51(1) of the Water Act 1989

The Early Exit Expression of Interest (EOI) is your opportunity to voluntarily surrender your water licence in exchange for a financial incentive. Participation is entirely voluntary and there is no obligation to make a decision at this stage. Please complete this online form if you are interested in exiting the rural system.

This form is an expression of interest (EOI) only. It does not commit you to leaving the rural water system.

Once we receive and review your EOI, we will send you a formal deed. If you choose to proceed, you will need to sign and return the deed to us.

We will only process the surrender of your licence once the deed has been signed and returned.

The incentives available are:

Rural Licence incentive - $7,500 per licence

Water incentive - $2,000 per megalitre

Early exit incentive - $2,500 per licence (one off payment)
