United by Water

This year’s National Water Week theme, United by Water, encourages us all to reflect on our personal water stories and celebrate the important role that water plays in connecting us all.

Perhaps it was catching your first Murray Cod with dad, long summers spent by Lake Eppalock with friends, or the simple joy of running through the humble backyard sprinkler with siblings—water is deeply engrained in so many of our memories.

Not only is access to safe, clean drinking water essential for our health, water plays a crucial role in bringing us together.

Come and celebrate water with us!

To commemorate National Water Week, we’ll be popping up around our region to celebrate all things water!
We’ll be making a splash with some fantastic events for kids and adults alike in Bendigo, Echuca, and Kyneton.

We’d love you to join us for some water-inspired fun and share your water stories!

Echuca

Calling all water heroes!

Water Hero Bec with mini water heroes

We’ll be popping up at the Echuca Library with our favourite Coliban mascot, Tap, for some school holiday fun! You’ll have the chance to hear a story, learn a song and dance with Water Hero Bec. Or, perhaps you’d like to get creative and create your own water hero (and take home your very own water hero cape!). Adults might like to get involved in our Choose Tap Challenge. You might be surprised how much sugar is in some of your favourite beverages!

Date: Wednesday 20 September
Time: 12pm-3pm (Story time session will run from 1pm-1:45pm)

We’d love to see you there.

Kyneton

Calling all water heroes!
