Noise update – We completed works on one of our main ‘blowers’ at Castlemaine Water Reclamation Plant. These blowers are essentially big fans, and they circulate oxygen during the wastewater treatment process.

These works will increase the capacity of the blower. We make continual adjustments to our plant to ensure it is working to the best of its ability.

We have also ordered a second blower to support the aeration treatment process at our plant.

The design for new acoustic enclosures for our blowers is continuing. This will help reduce noise at the plant. We hope to lock in construction dates for this work soon.

Odour update – We remain on track to complete maintenance on our McBerns unit after it was identified for improvement by an odour expert recently.
