A new misting system will become operational next week as part of our efforts to reduce and monitor odour at the Bendigo Water Reclamation Plant.

This system was installed as part of a series of tasks being completed and new works planned.

Completed works:

• We have finished identifying and sealing minor odour leaks in locations around the plant.
• The new misting system is available to help neutralise odour from the ATAD system.

Upcoming works:

• Two large fans to help the drying process will be installed next week. Two more will arrive in coming weeks for installation.
• We have engaged a contractor to carry out a structural investigation of biofilters ahead of upgrading them.
